posted by: beedoggs1. sounds like they are teenagers then. You'll notice a personality change when they come into heat, from the sounds of it, it's just right around the corner. When one goes into heat, the other will be shortly after. Good luck keeping the neighbor dogs away.

posted by: beedoggs1. look for a few signs. The one with the swollen vulva, the one dripping blood when she runs/trots, the one that spends an insane amount of time licking back there. Doesn't matter which one plays big spoon in doggy leap frog. After the first round of bleeding, they will be fertile for 7-10 days, then if not bred, they will bleed again for another week or so.
