This would be awesome news. The only problem is hopefully we won't get some shmooz for Gov. after he's gone if he wins. Hoeven has done some incredible things for our state and has gone head to head with a lot of large federal agencies to look out for our best interests. He definately could make an impact in DC if he can hang on to his ND values.
You can't shoot a big one if you shoot a small one!

I really don't know why he doesn't just take the big step.  Beating Byron would be easy for him, but I think there's bigger fish to fry.

Hoven?
Like heck Id vote for him again.
I consider myself a concervative/rep.... but that man does done more to screwup ND budget that anyone I know of.... Main case in point, look at ITD, with state agency spending on technology.

Tell me how THAT is a sound judgement or any remote hint of a small govt/less spending mentality that SHOULD be infused in every republican.
He alone, who owns the youth, gains the future.

I'd like to see the whole list of things he's screwed up in your mind.
