Favre's just another dirt bag, I hope he comes back so we can see more of what happend to him in the NO game. Favre welcome to 2 games of Julius Peppers.

Another interesting story about the Purple Pride's holy man, what a class act:

www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/08/04/brett-favre-jenn-sterger_n_670391.html

Brett Favre may have sent penis pictures to model Jenn Sterger, according to an article at Deadspin. The web site reports that 26-year-old Sterger, a former columnist for Sports Illustrated's web site who is no stranger to revealing photo shoots, says the legendary quarterback flirted with her when they were both employed by the New York Jets.

According to the article, Sterger claims that Favre, who has reportedly been texting teammates, ultimately texted her something quite different: numerous photos of his penis, including one in which "he's masturbating -- while wearing a pair of Crocs."

Hey Nanky, Just a free peice of advice for ya.  Don't let your hatred for Farve ruin your day.  Just the fact that you frequent the Huffington post makes your thoughts and story moot.  There are so many whackos on that site it quite frankly makes you look foolish. peace out!

Yes, the wife and I love a good storm. I don't like it when it disrupts pre-fishing for the biggest Channel Catfish Tourney in the world however.

Is that tourney this weekend josh?

Diesel, I agree with most of what you said and I am not trying to be too harsh on farmers, cause I really do love farmers for the most part, heck most of my friends are farmers and ranchers.  Your point about farming a long ways apart is true, but all I am saying is that most of the time that is a choice, and the tax payers should not have to split the bill because he wants more land further away from the farm.  Also, I fully understand the unpredictable nature of farming and admire those who can handle the stress of it all, I don't think I could.  Sometimes it just feels like the farmer this day and age can't fail, unless you are VERY incompetent and lazy.  I would like to know your opinion on this diesel:  I know several farmers that are very very wealthy, as in millionaires. Should they get the same subsidies that the average small farmer gets?  Some of the biggest most wealthiest farmers take home the most payments which does not seem right. Here's the question. If you have enough money in the bank to basicly cover your own risk should you be able to receive gov't payments?

One program that I think has been just raped by some farmers is perventive planting.  My basic understanding is is that you get paid for not planting a crop if some outside factor (mother nature) prevent you from getting it in.  What I have seen happening for years is some farmers not getting crop in when others in the same area do.  Some just run a better operation and get things done, while others are not putting in the long hours or who have junk equipment and cant get the work done, then get paid for those poor decisions.  I am in no way saying there shouldn't be some form of crop insurance that can mitigate risk but when you see lazy farmers getting rewarded with free gov't payments it gets irritating.  Most of the farmers I know are good farmers and just want to live a good life and raise their families. But, it is also true that most farmers live VERY good lives, with boats, campers, BIG toys, and go on very nice vacations. Now, I am not against living a good life, heck that is what I am working for too, but when you are getting gov't assistance in many different ways it just makes it hard for the lay person to swallow. Am I totally wrong here?

I have a question:  Did I hear right that the gov't payments have been reduced this year?  I really don't believe the farmers of this state have to be so heavily subsidized as they are. I think we have the best farmers in the world here in ND and most (if you run your farm right) can make it just fine on there own.  Just my opinion.

The funniest part of it was the "Sombrero" name!  LMAO!
But all of us on FBO know that there needs to be NO regulations for oil companies to have plan B and C and D available in case some unforseen thing happens.  They are very responsible companies that would do so unasked!
Nor should BP be told that they had better be prepared to pay for it, no matter what the costs!   That sound like some kind fof a 'shakedown'  by our leftist tree hugging  Liberals!
Heck, Obama should just don some SCUBA gear, grab a big cork and swim down and plug the thing!   Oh wait - that would be government interference in the oil company's business so forget the scuba gear, Barak - use it instead in those beautiful reefs in the Florida Keys - the second longest barrier reef in the world!  Oh wait,  by the time you get SCUBA certified, there might not be any reefs to see!    Try the Great Barrier Reef in Australia!
Just kidding, guys. Sort of anyway;    I love to play Devil's Advocate!

The video was interesting in that back in '79 almost no one paid more than a minor passing glance at the news.    Heck I can't remember a thing about the 79 disaster.   Ironic that not much has changed.....
Bobkat, no amount of gov't regulation is going to prevent every disaster. No amount of gov't regulation is going to make every industry prepared with plan a, b, c for every scenerio. Accidents WILL happen!  I know you were sorta kidding, but only sorta.

MSA, whats the biggest Bull Snake you have seen?  Or like Tim said, have you been bitten by a big one?  Those things just freak me out just thinking about them.  The only big one I have seen was maybe a five footer crossing the road near Beulah.  I have seen a seven foot skin before laying on the side of the road, again by beulah.

You know whats funny about this HC bill?  The very people who wrote the bill are exempt from its provisions, even key staffers who helped right the bill will be able to stay with there premium plans! NICE!

The lefts latest tactic:  When talking to any conservative just say that they are getting all their info from Fox and Rush!  Try to neutralize their well thought out opinions by saying they can't think for themselves.  The big one is FOX!  Its straight out of Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals. Rule 11: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it. Don’t try to attack abstract corporations or bureaucracies. Identify a responsible individual (fox). Ignore attempts to shift or spread the blame.
